What customers say?

“ The best burger in Shreveport is now the best burger in Bossier, too! We decided to make the drive the check it out, cautious with our expectations but delighted to find the food was as good as the original location. The sign on the door cautioned an expected hours' wait, but we had our food in about 30 minutes. The place was busy but not packed (this was about 7pm on a Wednesday) but I imagine during peak lunch and dinner hours it is probably a much longer wait. But that is just a testament to how good it is. It's definitely worth the drive and worth the wait, and with the much more friendly hours at the Bossier location, I anticipate many, many trips back. The onion rings are a better choice than the fries, but if you get fries, I recommend getting cheese or something else on them. I didn't love the cajun fries, seemed more like a seasoning with spice and not much flavor was sprinkled on them. I enjoy spicy, but I prefer some good flavor notes to accompany that, and it not be spicy just for the sake of being spicy. They weren't bad, mind you, but the onion rings were just so much better. ”

“ We have been several times. Burgers are delicious and I recommend getting the cheese curds. Service was great and I have told all my friends. ”

“ Not a bad place for your lunch hour. The burgers are good and one day I hope to retry the grand papa challenge since I was so close to finishing it at the Shreveport location. The fries are factually better than Five Guys by merit that they aren't soggy messes and have a balanced seasoning. I don't recommend the muffaletta. The one I got was soggy and salty, as if they didn't drain the olives before putting them on the sammich. Other than that the place has been a good balance of quality and price. ”

“ My wife and I split a whole cajin cheeseburger. The burger was cooked to perfection!! The fries where very good as well. Great staff and good prices. We will definitely be back !! ”

“ We've eaten here many times. My favorite is the Ribeye poboy and my husband's is the Cajun burger. The poboy's and burgers are huge. You can order a half or a whole. I like to get Sweetpotato fries with mine. All the food I've tried here has been excellent. Even my pickiest grandson loves it. The Bossier location has plenty of seating. The Shreveport location is a little harder to get a seat, especially at lunchtime. But the food at both locations is excellent and the service is friendly. The Bossier location has table service. The Shreveport location has a counter where you order and then pick up your food. ”

“ Service was perfect as was the food. stopped in for a late lunch.. was wonderful especially with the military appreciation discount to top it off... onion rings , Philly cheesesteak fries mushroom Swiss burger... ”

“ Really good burgers and fish. Service was great. Highly recommended. ”

“ If you're hungry, this is the place to come. If you're hungry for excellent food served in a portion size for two or three, you'll be satisfied quickly after your first bite. You'll know the rest is as delicious. Famous for their very large burgers, nothing on the menu seems to place second. Excited to try their burger at the suggestion of a friend, I made a last-minute decision to get the ribeye Philly cheese steak and I was not disappointed. Most - if not all - entrees are available as "half" or "whole." While I imagine there are times when the half is a need for a certain customer, I would never order less than "whole." Most will certainly take home leftovers to enjoy over the next day or two. My girlfriend ordered the fried shrimp basket and was pleasantly surprised by the meaty size of the shrimp. Their flavor was also lip-licking-good. Make sure you try this place! Kudos, Papa's! ”
